Those things are so over processed. I’ve never seen one go bad, EVER! I’m convinced it’s some alien substance.

I’ve never seen one go bad. I would imagine that its when the mold spores appear. 1 month in the fridge shouldn’t hurt a thing. These are processed cheese foods that you speak of so I imagine that they have a relatively long shelf life if stored according to pkg directions. I’ve eaten it up to 3 or 4 months after I buy it. Once in a while, a corner of the plastic pops up and you get a dry spot, but if no mold and tastes ok, go for it!

It should say on the package, but it will last longer than a month as long as it was in the fridge. I would say about 3 months then I would worry♥

Plastic is forever(sorry, I couldn’t resist). Easily 90 days in the fridge. If the corners darken, trim them off.

I think that they are bad from the beginning.
:S
They should have an expiry date.

They will last for a couple of years if properly refrigerated.

Do yourself…and your boyfriend a favor and quit with the plastic wrapped piece of cheese flavored plastic. Buy some real cheese and taste the difference. Oh my. The Kraft singles are only bad when the edges get hard and crunchy. You will never see mold as there are so many chemicals in there. I think that’s why thy call it cheese food, not cheese. Real cheese stays for a long time in your refrigerator. Go for it.

ya Iam sure they have a date on the package and if it has mold stay away why would your b/f eat it!

Like all products they have a stale date (best by date) printed on the package - however because they are individually sealed that date takes a little longer to reach -like 8mos as opposed to 3-6 months for other cheeses. Hope this helped.

Well it all depends when you purchased the cheese, and I’m 100% sure that it has a date on the package. I have some Colby cheese (Kraft) in the Refrigerator that’s dated 27-Apr-2007 and was purchased about 3wks ago. And since you bought yours a month ago-I’m sure it’s still GOOD!

Just like any products that’s out there has best by date printed on the package-but as for Kraft singles they’re good for about a year-Gross eh?..Keep in mind you will never and I mean never see MOLD! it will get dry around the edges. Good luck!
