Yes, you typically only use one glove, and they sell them in S,M,L,XL,XXL. You might use what is known as a rain glove on your off hand if it’s wet out, and your hand are slipping. A right handed golfer wears a glove on their left hand, as that’s the hand gripping the club first, and vice-versa for a lefty. However, they do sell golf gloves in multi-packs, but usually they are all for the same hand.
most of us only wear one glove (on our non-dominant hand) so that’s why they don’t sell them in pairs…however, my huband wears them on both hands (and it sure as heck doesn’t hurt HIS game any…dang it!)
A right-handed golfer typically wears one glove on his left hand, which is (or should be) dominant in the golf swing. A left handed golfer wears on glove on his right hand. If, for some reason, you wanted to wear two gloves (like Tommy “Two Gloves” Gainey from Big Break fame) - you would need to buy a single left and right glove in the same size to wear on both hands.
I can’t imagine wearing two gloves…..for me there has to be some “play” in my right hand (I am right-handed) and I am sure that I would not like the feeling at all.
why they come in singles is it depends if your right or left and you put it on your oppiste hand so you do get blisters on that and your strong hand leads forward and have a good grip on your hand.
When you swing, depending on which hand is your dominant hand, you always put more pressure on the grip of your club with your non-dominate hand. Although some people do need two gloves, the majority of people use only one. If you need two gloves, try loosening your grip. The tighter the grip the more blisters you will get on your hands.
I don’t know what the point of this question was… you answered yourself with your second question. Yes most golfers use only one glove.
Not quite sure if I completely comprehend the second part. If you mean that different golfers have different sizes then yes you are right. However, if you are referring to each golfer having two hands of different sizes then you deserve to be slapped with a golf. WTF are you thinking… once someone becomes a golfer their hands change sizes?
