I use kraft single in mine all the time. I add a little milk and a small amount of butter, kraft singles and salt and pepper. It is very good.

sure you can! or use shredded cheese or canned condensed cheese soup.

Yes you can. I never make mine the same all the time. I like to bake it also with different types of cheeses.

That is one method to make it, but it’s not the usual one. Go ahead.

You can use elbow macaroni, but you need to make a cheese sauce. You would combine 1 cup milk, 1 egg, and the craft singles and stir over a low setting on the oven until it is the thickness you like. Be careful not to leave it on the fire to long or the egg will actually cook. Cheese alone would simply melt and stick.

You need LOTS of cheese when doing it like that. I’m not confident that you’d have enough kraft singles.
I always use 1/4 of a Lg. brick of Velveeta for creamy Mac & cheese, a little margerine and a tad of milk or spoonful of sour cream. I also sprinkle a little garlic salt to kick it up a notch.

Yes, but you need to make a roux–melt some butter (maybe half a stick) with a couple of spoonfuls of flour, slowly add milk (can be lowfat), then tear up the cheese slices and add to the mix and cook it in the pot over very low heat, stirring so it doesn’t stick.
Then pour the whole mess over the cooked macaroni. Bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for about half an hour or so.
Yum.
(Sometimes I add chopped up hot dogs or bits of ham)

Give it a try. Cheese and pasta, how difficult is that?
Cheese melts, pasta is hot, you are good to go.
You know, baking is a science but all the rest of this is pretty much an experiment in progress. Be bold with your cooking and try new things. What’s the worst that can happen?
PS Add a little chili powder to your mac and cheese.

I think it would work. I did this last night with Kraft Mac & Cheese; I took shredded Mexican Four Cheese blend - about 4 handfuls - added milk, butter, and the cheese packet, and mixed it all together. I then added chipotle powder and stirred it once more. It was a cheesy and spicy mix.

Stir 2 tablespoons of flour 1/4 butter or Marg. in pot on stove top stir and cook 1 minute. When macaroni is cooked, drain it and add to the flour mix add some milk stir and 12 slices of cheese . salt and a very small amount of mustard.
