Where is the best place to live in O’ahu for Singles?

I’m moving to O’ahu in a couple of months and want to figure out where the best place to live would be so I can start looking at apartments/condos. I’ll be working at the Navy Base at Pearl Harbor, and don’t want an hour commute, and I’d like to live near some good night life. Also, does anyone know a good website for looking at apartments/condos in O’ahu? Thanks!

    the best night life is in waikiki and around that area…but thats not close to pearl harbor…you can try

    WAIKIKI side has some nice apartments/condos.. so check that out.. also check out the AIEA side and the MOANALUA side.. there are apartments and condos all over the island, but these three areas that i have suggested are the best picks, in my opinion.. if you get an apartment somewhere else, just beware.. cause some of the places on oahu are really ghetto..

    I think Aiea would be a good bet for you. The nightlife centers around Waikiki & Ala Moana, but that would be a commute for you if you lived there & worked at PH. Better to live closer to work, I think.
