Why is Valentine’s not a chance to get singles together instead of just being painful for singles?

i don’t know, but i am 1 of those singles! i Hate valentine’s day, but i think sum guys like me! the thing is, they don’t ever say anything! don’t u have that feeling sumtimes?

It’s only “painful” for singles if they let it be. Valentine’s day is a freaking Hallmark, fake, holiday. Just go about it like any other day and stop letting all the stupid hearts and balloons and crap make you feel bad. Sheesh.

Have jury duty and managed to not get picked for a trial… Still depressed over V-Day, but it actually did help pick me up some. lol

But it is.. if you go out and meet someone more than likely he or she doesn’t have a significant other so some less B.S. you won’t have to worry about.

Valentine’s day gives singles an excuse for making romantic advances. Love is in the air. It is an exciting day for those who join in. If you are not interested don’t let it get you down. Romance is not a goal for everyone.

There are events for folks who are single or away from their Valentine… I’m going to one tonight with a couple of friends.

Since my birthday is the day after Valentines ( tomorrow=)) I don’t pay it no mind. Mostly because I’m always to excited about my birthday. I think it’s so painful for single people because they see all these happy couples together that day. I would feel horrible also if I had to watch my friends/family members being showered with love and gifts and I had nothing. I agree with you, Valentines Day should be a day to bring Single men and woman together. But that’s just my opinion. Good Luck!
