i feel the same way and in some senses it is a disadvantage, we have nobody there for us no matter what whih makes a big difference some times
but at least you know your not the only one now

dont worry about other people…just worry about yourself…enjoy life to the fullest everyday and you will find that when you werent looking that the guys were and you will find that you will be the one who has a bf and enjoying the real love you have for them…because they will have gotten to know the full and best you while you were living your life…

ABSOLUTELY normal. being the third wheel is always awkward. Go get yourself a lover, but don’t settle. Find somebody you know you can be happy with. Don’t wait for a husband, but it shouldn’t be “Oh, I have to go see so-and-so today” If it’s somebody that you can see yourself dating, maybe marrying but not required, hell, go for it! Guys love to be hit on.

No one has the upper hand just because they have a boyfriend/girlfriend. You might feel weird at time because you feel like a tag-along??in which you shouldn’t. I think of it this way…I have an advantage because I don’t have to deal with someone else’s bull crap. Plus you don’t have to worry about getting into arguments and fights.

i’m kinda in that situation now. all of my friends are with somebody. i don’t feel lost, but i do feel left out. i can’t just call up my friends anymore because they are with their other half. and you’re right. it’s not a good reason to just get a boyfriend. i don’t know how old you are, but i’m in college and i go places where i can meet new people. like shooting pool, bowling, or signing up for some kind of class at the mall, like a cooking class.
