Older singles, is being single in your 30’s and up kinda like being in 6th grade forever?

Your peers are married and having kids and experiencing new challenges

and you’re in the same stage of life like a 18 year old.

I’m single and in my 30’s and so are a lot of my friends. Its actually more common than you would think, especially since most people prefer to focus on their careers instead of family life. There’s nothing that says you have to be married to experience new things, and half of marriages end up in divorce anyway.

Being old and single is great for me. All my friends are having babies and getting married right now but i save so much money in my mothers basement and I’m working on another degree and have a six pack :)

Thats funny you mention that. I am fairly new to being single again (was married for 8 years) & it feels like Im back in high school again.

But it seems to be the general “plan” in life anymore: Get married, have a child, get divorced, pay child support, & start dating again. The only diffrence from being in High School and now is that I have to rearrange dates to revolve aroung my visitation with my son!
