Who will win a World Title(singles) first Matt or Jeff Hardy?
August 2nd, 2009The Con-sequences of M.Creed asked:
Which Hardy will win a singles World Title first, Matt or Jeff?
They both are risky investments in WWE eyes, but who gets the nod first, if at all?
Give reasons why to get the best answer

Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy isn’t too talented and is starting to look more and more out of shape. Jeff amazes the fans soo much whereas Matt dosn’t.

Jeff hardy hes more over and if he had not gotten suspended then he would have won MITB and be world champ

Jeff Hardy providing he can stay off drugs. I actually had him winning the MITB match at WM24. Look at the push he’s been getting, since cyber sunday. I never expected him to be one of the guys you could vote for to face the WWE champion. Matt hardy should have a run as the US champion very soon.

In truth, neither would. Matt is a solid but unspectacular performer, and Jeff is great in the ring but is unreliable.
But to answer your question, I think Jeff would win a world title first. The WWE has shown a history of giving chances to great performers that have limitations and liabilities. Jeff Hardy is a risky proposition, but no more risky than Randy Orton (backstage antics), the Warrior (crazy), Rey Mysterio (short), or Chris Benoit (crazy & short).
Jeff had some good matches against bigger opponents, and he’s certainly got charisma. If he had a harder edge, I could see him as a poor man’s HBK or Edge.

Jeff. He recieves more attention from the crowd than Matt, is crazier than Matt ( Whisper In The Wind from Cage vs. Umaga, Swanton Bomb from balcony vs. Orton, etc. )

Neither are worthy of the WWE World Title. Simply because both of them are always injuried, have below average interview skills, and their style of wrestling is not main event material. If I had to pick one it would be Matt because his V1 gimmick got over when he went solo. Matt could chase the heel champion for the gold but will never win it because he is just enhancement talent out there to make the bad guy look good.
Jeff Hardy is your basic wrestler that should never ever leave the tag team division. Now that is not a bad thing it just goes to show that he can get over but is more of a sidekick than the superhero. Some people just can’t cut it as a solo act wrestlers like Shelton Benjamin, Marty Jennety, Jim Neidhart, Hawk/Animal, Ray/Devon to name a few. And to add on to that you have to look at Jeff’s history in the company as to why he was suspended or put on hiatus. The company does not need another champion who will get national attention for doing the wrong thing. Bad publicity is never a good thing.

Matt Hardy, because MVP isn’t very good.
