Do record companies chose which songs to be released as singles or the singer?And also how many singles should one record have?it’s chosen by them or artist?

    the singer says hey i like this song as the single but the managers or the company that gives the last say..and its usually one single

    singles songs are chosen by the record companies…they listened to it 20 times to make sure it will be a hit and its flawless…………………….

    when a record has more than one song in the radio than its called a ” Promo” thus Promoting the album to gain more sale.
