what is the best return in a singles match against someone with an amazing kick serve?

I had a match yesterday and all of my strategies were nothing. i moved up to the baseline(catching it early) and hanging back farther. either they served it deep so it was hard to hit my top spin return or put more kick on it when i moved back…. im completely lost
