What are the best areas for singles to reside near Forest Park in St. Louis?

Are there any places that are trending toward upwardly mobile singles and DINKs? These locations should have nice coffee shops and night-life with-in walking distance. I know Washington Avenue is popular for this demo, but are there areas near Forest Park.
