Should TNA make a US title or keep using the Tag titles to put singles wrestlers over?

Should they make a US title for guys like Rhyno, James Storm, AJ and Tomko?
Or should they continue to use the tag titles to put those guys over and ensure that the tag division is a premium and does not become meaningless like in WWE.
